Digital Marketing Manager – Trader Media Group Ireland

AMAS client Trader Media Group Ireland (TMG Ireland) wishes to hire a dynamic Digital Marketing Manager to grow audiences and increase consumer engagement for its leading digital brands, Carzone.ie, Autotrader.ie and Autotrader.co.uk/northernireland.  This is a new position and an exciting career opportunity for an experienced marketing professional with a proven track record of online brand building, achieving growth in traffic and the effective delivery of online advertising campaigns.

The role will involve developing ambitious digital marketing strategies (web and mobile) for the B2C market that will complement TMG Ireland’s successful strategy for the dealer market.  TMG Ireland is based in Sandyford, Dublin and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TMG, the UK multimedia group which also has operations in South Africa.

The role will involve:

  • Digital strategy development and day-to-day execution and the achievement of three to five-year B2C targets
  • Building brand awareness and consumer engagement across web and mobile platforms
  • Conceiving and delivering search, social media, email, PR and other campaigns
  • Understanding and targeting consumers with appropriate and engaging content that is informed by market knowledge and consumer insight
  • Applying this consumer insight to consumer segmentation and targeting strategy
  • Developing deep competitive intelligence, analysing market developments and identifying new market opportunities
  • Commissioning and creating compelling content
  • Identifying and working with partners on promotional campaigns
  • Contributing ideas to enhance the functionality and the user experience of TMG Ireland’s websites
  • Collaborating with other team members on joint projects
  • Establishing and analysing site and campaign metrics against agreed KPIs
  • Monitoring and measuring ROI and lead generation, as well as producing monthly board reports
  • Engaging with colleagues and stakeholders across TMG Ireland to align B2B marketing plans to sales activity, product management road maps and new product development
  • Forging and managing stronger relationships with third party suppliers and external agencies, inspiring creativity and innovative thinking to maximize the opportunities

Candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience, preferably with an online publisher, and should have a third level qualification, preferably in a marketing or communications discipline.  They should be highly motivated, be able to work on their own initiative and have excellent presentation, organisational and communications skills.

Strong PC, internet and social media skills are also required.  A competitive salary and benefits package is available to the successful candidate.
